Checking Memberships

Why do I need to check membership?

When a user joins an association, their newly created membership will be in an 'unchecked' state. This allows an administrator to have the power to only 'check' memberships that are appropriate and differentiate these from fraudulent or unwanted users.

If the organisation has the 'membership pre-approval' setting enabled, unchecked members will not be able to make payments for their selected membership items or addons until they have been checked by an administrator.

To check membership, navigate to the Members->Unchecked. Select the members and from the batch process options select check members.

Or you can select a member and click the 'View' tab. Select the checkbox marked 'Checked' and click save to check the membership.

Note: Once marked as checked, a membership cannot be set back to unchecked.
